Changes in mRNA levels of apoptosis related genes in DU-145 cells exposed to docetaxel and ATRA combination as compared to untreated controls. mRNA profiles of apoptosis related genes were obtained by using Oligo GEArray Human Apoptosis (SuperArray, Frederick, MD, USA). mRNAs were isolated from untreated, docetaxel treated, ATRA treated and combination of docetaxel and ATRA treated DU-145 cells. Survivin (BIRC5), MLC-1 and LTβR mRNA levels were significantly downregulated by combination treatment. P < 0,05 was considered significant.
