From: Modulating effect of the PI3-kinase inhibitor LY294002 on cisplatin in human pancreatic cancer cells
Synergetic effect of LY294002 on cisplatin therapy using mouse xenografts. AsPC-1 xenograft nude mice were treated with cisplatin and/or LY294002 for 3 weeks. Tumor volume in the mice administrated (i.p.) with cisplatin or LY294002 was slowly inhibited compared with the controls. Combination therapy showed significant inhibition compared to the results of single-agent treatments.
