Effects of specific HDAC8 inhibition on target proteins. PARP, p21, acetylated α-tubulin and thymidylate synthase (TS) in inhibitor (compound 2, compound 5, compound 6; IC50, 72 h) treated RT-112, VM-CUB1, SW-1710, 639-V and UM-UC-3 cells compared to a DMSO solvent control were determined by western blot analysis. As a loading control α-tubulin was stained on each blot.
