Apoptotic effects of BP-CML cells with an ARE/SUZ12-regulated TK/GCV system. BP-CML cell lines and control cells were transduced with Ad-S-TK, Ad-AS-TK, or empty adenovirus, and further cultured in 100 μmol/l GCV. The percentage of apoptotic cells was determined by annexin V–PE/7-AAD staining followed by 2-color flow cytometric analysis (A).
