miR-184 was down-regulated in human glioma tissues and glioma cell-lines. A. shows the qRT-PCR analysis results of miR-184 expression in glioma tissues and normal brain tissues (NBT). It showed that miR-184 expression in 49 gliomas was markedly lower than in 8 non-cancerous brain tissues and decreased with the increasing degree of malignancy in gliomas (low grade vs high grade). U6 small nuclear RNA was used as an internal control. B. shows that miR-184 expression in 5 glioma cell-lines was down-regulated compared to 6 normal brain tissues (N1, N2, N3, N4, N5, N6) .U6 small nuclear RNA was used as an internal control.
