Effect of vernodalin on expression of cell cycle inhibitor p27/Kip1, p-FOXO3a and FOXO3a in breast tumor tissue. Sprague dawley rats were implanted with LA7 cells. Rats were treated with low and high dose of vernodalin (1 or 10 mg/kg) and the standard drug Tamoxifen (1 mg/kg). Tumor tissues were collected in 10 % formalin and blocks were prepared in paraffin and immunohistochemistry of p27kip1, p-FOXO3a and FOXO3a were performed as described in “Materials and Methods”.
