Netrin-1 is associated with poor patient prognosis in gliomas. The association of NTN1 with the survival of glioma patients was assessed using Kaplan-Meier survival analysis. NTN1 association to (a) glioma specific survival (hazard ratio [HR] = 1.73, 95% confidence interval [95% CI] = 1.11 to 2.71; p = 0.015) and (b) to recurrence-free survival were analyzed (HR = 1.62, 95% CI = 1.04 to 2.53; p < 0.001). c The localization of NTN1 in low grade gliomas was investigated by immunofluorescence staining of paraffin embedded tumor tissue.
