Stathmin overexpression correlated with mutant p53 expression in OSCC patients. Stathmin and p53 expression was detected in 48 OSCC patients using immunohistochemistry (a). The positive correlation between stathmin and p53 expression was demonstrated in a scatter plot (r = 0.469, P = 0.0008) (b).
