Downregulation of SGK1 inhibits metastasis in vivo. Briefly, 2 × 106 PC3LV2-Ctrl cells or 2 × 106 PC3shSGK1 cells suspended in 0.2 ml PBS were inoculated subcutaneously in the right flank of each mouse. When the tumors of the PC3LV2 group reached approximately 500 mm3, all mice were sacrifice to collect the tumors. a SGK1, LC3B, Fibronectin (FN1) and MMP3 levels were determined by IHC.
