Triptolide (TP) suppresses proliferation of EBV-positive NPC cells. Cells were placed in 96-well plates, treated with DMSO control (0.01%) or TP (25, 50,100, or 200 nM) for 24 h or 48 h. Cell viability of C666–1 a, HONE1/Akata b, HK1/Akata c, CNE1/Akata d, and CNE1 (e) were detected by a CCK-8 kit. f Cells were placed in 35 mm culture dishes and then cultured in standard medium with DMSO control (0.01%) or TP (1, 2, 5 nM). After 2 weeks, the colony-formation analysis was performed (*: P < 0.05; **: P < 0.01; ***: P < 0.001)
