From: TRPM7 promotes the epithelial–mesenchymal transition in ovarian cancer through the calcium-related PI3K / AKT oncogenic signaling

Fig. 1

Up-regulated TRPM7 is associated positively with EMT in ovarian cancer. (a) The relative levels of TRPM7, E-cadherin, vimentin and Twist mRNA transcripts in 20 non-tumor ovarian and 60 distant metastatic ovarian cancer tissues were examined by qRT-PCR. (b) Correlation between TRPM7 and E-cadherin, vimentin or Twist mRNA transcripts was analyzed. (c) Western blot analysis the relative levels of TRPM7, E-cadherin, vimentin and Twist expression in 20 non-tumor ovarian and 60 distant metastatic ovarian cancer tissues. (d) The disease-free and overall survival in ovarian cancer patients. The patients were stratified, according to the mean value of each measure in this population. (e) Western blot analysis of the levels of TRPM7, E-cadherin, vimentin and Twist expression in ovarian cancer cells
