CCDC106 enhances CX-4945 resistance of cancer cells in a p53-dependent manner. a Silencing CCDC106 decreases IC50 values in MCF7 and HeLa cells with wtp53, but not in C33A with mtp53. b CCDC106 overexpression increases IC50 values in HBL100 and SiHa cells with wtp53, but not in MDA-MB-231 cells with mtp53. Cells were seeded in 96-well plates and treated with different concentrations of CX-4945 for 24 h. Then, cell viability was determined by an MTT assay. Based on the results of the MTT assay, the IC50 was calculated. All the values are presented as the means ± S.D. for at least three independent in vitro experiments. Differences between control and experimental groups were analyzed by Student’s t-test; *p-value ≤0.05, **p-value ≤0.01, and ***p-value ≤0.001
