The anthelmintic flubendazole shows promising efficacy to suppress CRC cell proliferation.(a) The chemical structure of flubendazole. (b) IC50 values of flubendazole in CRC cells. Three CRC cell lines were seeded in 96-well plate and treated with various concentrations of flubendazole (0–400 μM). Proliferation was measured after 48 h of treatment by the MTT assay. The proliferation curves were plotted using the GraphPad Prism 7.0 software. Data are expressed as the mean ± SD of 3 independent experiments. (c) Colony forming assay of the indicated cell lines.
