sFGL2 inhibits Akt and p38 phosphorylation and signaling in DCs. Bone-marrow cells were isolated from BALB/c mice and stimulated with 10 ng/mL IL-4 and 10 ng/mL GM-CSF for 6 days in order to form immature BMDCs prior to a incubation with different concentrations (0, 0.5, 1.0, and 2.0 μg/mL) of recombinant murine FGL2 for 16 h, followed by 0.5 μg/mL LPS stimulation for 30 min.
