Diagram for the molecular mechanism. In glioma cells, NCK1-AS1 increases TRIM24 expression by sponging miR-138-2-3p. Up-regualtion of TRIM24 promotes the nuclear translocation of β-catenin, leading to increased expression of PCNA, N-cadherin, MMP-P and Bcl-2, resulting in increased cell proliferation, invasion and migration while decreased apoptosis
