Effect of hsa_circ_0002577 knockdown on tumor growth and metastasis in EC mouse model. Four-week-old female BALB/c nude mice were subcutaneously injected with sh-circRNA or sh-NC-transfected cells into the dorsal flank. a Six weeks after inoculation, tumors were removed from all mice (n = 6 per group). The tumor volume was measured every week for 6 weeks. The average tumor weight of both groups was shown. b Tumor tissue samples were sectioned and stained for IGF1R, Ki-67, E-cadherin by immunohistochemistry. c TUNEL staining was performed to detect apoptosis. d The metastasis of tumor in mice implanted with Ishikawa cells was evaluated using bioluminescence imaging. The intensity of luminescence signal was shown as radiance (photons/s/cm2/steradian) with a color bar. e The metastatic pulmonary nodules and f the density of microvessels were visualized using H&E staining. g Tumor tissue sections were analyzed for CD31 using immunohistochemistry
