Depletion of VANGL1 suppressed the growth of LUAD tumor to irradiation. A549 cells (1 × 106) with or without VANGL1 knockdown were injected into the left side on the back of each mouse. When the average tumor size reached about 50 mm3, the tumor-bearing nude mice were exposed to X-ray of 2.0 Gy alone for each time. The same treatment for each group was repeated 3 times (the interval time was 5 days). a The tumor volume was measured and calculated every 3 days. b All mice were killed on day 25 and the weight of tumors was measured.
