Interconnection between clinics and laboratory leading to precision medicine. The CRC patient is longitudinally monitored from the detection of the disease throughout the standard-of-care treatment. During this time, treatment-naĂŻve tumor samples as well as those from progressive disease can be collected not only for clinical assessment, but also laboratory processing. Analyses from both areas, medical and research oncology, will lead to data integration and interpretation which will finally converge to preclinical evidence-based therapeutic decision-making process.
