Effect of MUC5AC suppression on cell adhesion. (A) Cancer cells were seeded in 96-well plates coated with Matrigel, laminin and fibronectin. After 30 min incubation, adherent cells were quantified by MTT assay. A phase contrast photograph of SW-1990 shows the representative adhering cells to the well coated in finbonectin. Scale bar, 50 μm. (B) Quantitication of the effect of MUC5AC downregulation on cell adhesion to Matrigel, laminin and fibronectin.
