PIG3 is required for microtubule growth in NSCLC cells. a Knock down of PIG3 by siRNA markedly inhibits the regrowth of microtubules from centrosomes in A549 cells. PIG3 and control siRNAs were transfected into A549 cells and 48 h post transfection the cells were treated with chilled medium + 1 μM nocodazole for an additional 1 h on the ice.
