NF2 was involved in the apoptosis and invasion of U251 cells. The viability of U251 cells was determined at 24, 48 and 72 h after NF2 overexpression (a). Protein expression of DNMT1 and NF2 after transfection with pcDNA-NF2 was detected by Western blot in U251 cells (b). At 48 h after NF2 overexpression, cell apoptosis was evaluated by flow cytometry (c) as well as Hoechst staining (d), and the cell proliferation was detected with Edu (e); cell invasive activity was detected by transwell (f). *, P < 0.05, **, P < 0.01 compared with control groups
