The migration capacity was inhibited in HN4 and HN13 after silence stathmin. Using a transwell assay, 3–5 × 104 cells after transfection for 24 h were seed in the upper chamber with serum free medium, and the lower chamber was DMEM medium containing 10% FBS. After incubation for 36 h, the number of migrating cells on the membrane were stained with crystal violet and counted under microscope. a Using a wound healing assay, HN4 and HN13 cells transfected with siRNA-stathmin (#2) were seed in 6-well plate with a confluence of 90%.
