ICAM1 downregulation is an important factor underlying the high tumorigenic potential. (a) Adherent-cultured ICAM1KO- and WT-DU145 cells were transplanted onto SCID mice treated with an anti-asialo GM1 Ab or control IgG. Respective tumor volumes were measured for up to 60 days after the transplantation (n = 4, *P < 0.005, **P < 0.001, ***P < 0.0001, Student’s t test).
