Progranulin modulates focal adhesion turnover and the formation of F-actin-containing cell protrusions. A-B Serum-starved parental and GRN KO MSTO-211H cells were treated with 10 µM nocodazole (NCZ) for 4 h. Nocodazole was then washed out to allow microtubules regrowth and focal adhesion assembly. Cells were fixed at the indicated time points after nocodazole release and stained for pFAK Y397 and vinculin (A) or vinculin and F-actin (B) by immunofluorescence. Bars = 20 µm.
